Kenny Perrotti has served as the Athletic Director at Los Gatos High School from 2007 to 2010 and again since 2017. Prior to this, he was the Assistant Athletic Director at Palo Alto High School from 2016 to 2017. His coaching career spans wrestling and football, where he has built successful programs and led teams to numerous accolades.

Coaching Experience:

• Wrestling: Head Coach at Los Gatos (2006-2010); led teams to top-4 finishes in CCS four out of five years, coaching multiple CCS champions and state placers. Wrestling coach from 1999 to 2011.
• Football: JV Head Coach at Westmont (2010-2011) and Palo Alto (2014, 2016). Varsity Linebackers Coach at Gunn (2012). Varsity Defensive Coordinator at Palo Alto (2016). JV Offensive Line Coach at Los Gatos (2018-2021).

Philosophy:
Perrotti’s philosophy focuses on building programs that succeed on and off the field by fostering fun, inclusion, and growth. His goal is to create lasting programs by asking, “Beyond winning, how can we enhance every athlete’s experience?” This approach balances athlete-centered and coach-centered development, ensuring every decision benefits the team and whenever possible the students first.

Key goals include:

• Competing for league titles annually and qualifying for CCS playoffs.
• Offering large rosters and minimizing cuts to increase participation.
• Fielding as many freshman teams as possible.
• Developing athletes holistically—athletically, academically, and emotionally.

Certifications and Awards:

• NFHS certifications: Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion Management, Heat Illness Prevention, Coaching Football, Fundamentals of Coaching.
• NIAAA Certified Athletic Administrator.
• 2023-24 Central Coast Section Athletic Director of the Year.
• Ambassador for the California State Athletic Directors Association Conference.
• Chairperson of the SCVAL Athletic Directors Council and CCS Boys Wrestling Committee.
• Member of CIF committees for strategic priorities and transfer eligibility.

Playing Experience:
Perrotti is a proud alumnus of Los Gatos High, where he wrestled and played football. He was part of the 1997 league and CCS Division 3 championship football teams.

Education:

• Chico State University: Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management (2005).
• Special Education Clear Level 2 Teaching Credential (Mild to Moderate Disabilities).

Personal Life:
Kenny has been married to his wife Kim since 2012 and continues to serve the Los Gatos community through his dedication to athletic excellence and student development.
