Coaching Experience:

Jaye Reinman has over 15 years of coaching experience in both Flag Football and Varsity High School Football. He began his coaching journey with a passion for the sport, and his dedication quickly led him to great success. Notably, as the Head Coach of the 7/8th grade Boys Flag Football team at St. Andrews, Jaye led the team to an undefeated season and their first-ever championship trophy. In his first year as Head Coach of the Los Gatos High School Girls Flag Football team, he secured a Division Championship in the SCVAL with an impressive 24-2 record.

Coaching Philosophy:
Jaye’s coaching philosophy is built on patience, understanding, and ensuring that each player fully grasps their role on the field. He believes that success is not solely defined by wins, but by the ability of each athlete to execute their job with clarity and precision. His commitment to excellence is matched by his respect for players and coaches alike. Jaye strives to foster a team environment where respect, collaboration, and understanding are the pillars of success.

Player Development and Success:
Jaye places a strong emphasis on both academics and athletics. He pushes his athletes to prioritize their education, with athletics coming second, and believes that success in both areas will help develop well-rounded individuals. He promotes a culture of respect, unity, and fun, encouraging athletes to enjoy the sport while improving their skills and understanding of the game. His focus on team-building extends beyond the field, with efforts to strengthen the bonds between the Varsity and JV programs.

Jaye is continually learning and developing his coaching skills to ensure the best experience for his players.

Playing Experience:
Jaye’s passion for football began in Pop Warner, where he played through high school. His talent and dedication earned him a scholarship to play at Virginia Union University, where he continued to excel in the sport.

Fun Facts:
Jaye comes from a large, diverse family, with Sicilian and African American roots. He has six siblings and is deeply proud of his cultural heritage. Outside of sports, Jaye is an avid cook, loves to travel, and is a passionate Disney enthusiast. He cherishes his faith, values life, and enjoys building relationships with those around him.

Jaye is committed to fostering a family-oriented culture at Los Gatos High School and is excited to continue growing the Girls Flag Football program with a focus on development, fun, and respect for the game and each other.
