Davis Lehman
Davis Lehman is the Head Coach for the Boys’ Lacrosse team at Los Gatos High School, bringing 17 years of coaching experience at various levels, including stints at Pacific Collegiate School, College Park High School, Diablo Valley College, ADVNC Lacrosse, and True Lacrosse. Throughout his coaching career, Davis has served as an Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator at College Park High School, Diablo Valley College, and Los Gatos High School, where he has had a significant impact on the development of lacrosse players both on and off the field.
Davis' coaching philosophy revolves around guiding athletes to demonstrate leadership, integrity, and compassion, helping them make positive and meaningful impacts in their own lives and the lives of those around them. He aims to continue growing the Los Gatos Boys’ Lacrosse Program, providing athletes with the chance to compete at a high level while also expanding opportunities for higher education and collegiate sports. Davis is passionate about increasing awareness of lacrosse in the Los Gatos community and the greater Bay Area, ensuring that more athletes have access to the sport and its benefits.
Under Davis’ leadership, numerous athletes have gone on to play collegiate lacrosse, and his focus on player development is rooted in key principles such as building meaningful connections, understanding teamwork, navigating adversity, effective communication, and finding balance between academics and athletics. His goal is to foster not only skilled lacrosse players but also well-rounded individuals who excel in all areas of life.
Davis has a distinguished playing background, having played four years of collegiate lacrosse at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He served as the club president for three years, leading the team to the 2013 Western Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Championship. In 2014, Davis was named an All-American and Defensive Player of the Year, solidifying his reputation as a standout athlete.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Science degree from Pacific University. Beyond lacrosse, Davis is deeply committed to the growth and development of student-athletes, both academically and athletically.
