All LGHS Athletes can pick up their athletic awards from the Athletic Directors office located in the main hall of the administration building.
Students typically either order a letterman jacket or collect their awards and put them into a display case.
These awards do have a significant cost so please come by the Athletic Directors office to pick these up if its something you really want to have to remember your time here at Los Gatos.
To review these are the awards each athlete or parent can pick up
- (1) Block letter after your first year of any varsity sport at LGHS (only issued one block letter)
- Sport emblems for every year of a sport at any level they have completed at LGHS
- Orange star for any varsity team award in any sport they have earned
- White star for any first team all-league selection in any varsity team sport
- White star for any league championship in an individual sport (wrestling, track and field, tennis, badminton, swimming, golf)
- Multi-Sport Athlete Patch- 3 sport or 2 sport athletes’ patches for each school year a student plays 2 or 3 sports (these will not be available until the fall but you can come by in August to pick up if you would like
- New Scholar Athlete Pin
- Captains Patch

These vendors can also provide you additional items to customize your jackets such as numbers, positions, and other customized embroidery and patches.
Keep in mind these jackets are an expression of each of our athletes so they can customize them anyway they want. There is no wrong or right away to customize your jackets.
